Josie grew up in the Yarra Valley where she was a part of the local horse riding, swimming and artistic gymnastics teams. Her love for sport ignited her passion for osteopathy after being treated by an osteopath for several years. Josie has always had a passion for helping people, whether that is through her surf lifesaving, to the years she spent teaching water safety, to her days as a sports trainer at the local football club, to now through her practice as an osteopath.
Josie completed a Bachelor of Health Science and Bachelor of Applied Science (Osteopathy) at RMIT University, graduating with Distinction. She enjoys treating a variety of conditions using a combination of structural and functional techniques, whilst taking into consideration additional factors such as a patient’s lifestyle, nutrition and goals. She believes in providing a holistic approach, one that is based on the four osteopathic principles and individualised to the patient’s needs and desires.
Josie is a member of both the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and Osteopathy Australia (OA).
During her time outside of work, Josie enjoys socialising with friends and family, exploring the outdoors and road tripping to the beach for a relaxing sunbake and swim. She also enjoys spending time creating healthy recipes in the kitchen, running with her dogs, working out and travelling.
